AgeWell New York Keeps up with the White House Agenda on Aging

AgeWell New York and Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation co-sponsored the Council of Senior Centers and Services (CSCS) of New York City Annual Conference on Aging at the Marriot Marquis in Manhattan. Over 250 guests attended the conference focused on the transformation of aging.

According to CSCS, among the day’s highlights were remarks by Nora Super, Executive Director of the 2015 White House Conference on Aging. Super addressed the White House agenda on aging and how it will help shape the landscape for older adults. Respected experts and leaders in their fields conducted workshops on issues including transition in healthcare; ageism; elder abuse; innovative community based programs; livable communities; palliative care; and more.
