MLTC Grievances and Appeals

Grievance Appeal:

  • Members can file a grievance appeal when they are not satisfied or disagree with the organization’s initial grievance resolution letter. The grievance appeal must come in writing and once received the Appeals & Grievances Department will collect all the evidence and documentation used in the initial grievance plus use additional information for a more thorough investigation. Please be advised, that members have 60 business days from the date of the initial resolution letter to file a grievance appeal and will receive a response within 30 business days.

MLTC Grievance Time Frame:

  • All MLTC members have the right to file a grievance at any time. Once a grievance has been filed the Appeals & Grievances Department has 45 days to investigate a standard grievance and 3 days upon receipt of information but no later than 7 days for an expedited grievance. It is our priority to investigate all matters thoroughly and provide our members with a timely and accurate response.
