AgeWell New York Helps Raise $5.1 Million at AIDS Walk New York Event

The AgeWell New York team walked 10-kilometers alongside roughly 35,000 participants in Central Park this past weekend for the fight against HIV/AIDS at the 29th annual AIDS Walk New York (AWNY).

The walk benefits GMHC, and more than 40 other vital AIDS service organizations throughout the tri-state area. GMHC is a not-for-profit, community based organization committed to national leadership in the fight against AIDS. According to the AIDS Walk New York website, AIDS Walk Founder and Senior Organizer Craig R. Miller says, “We at GMHC are deeply grateful to everyone who gathered here today to raise funds and walk together – people of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life – in solidarity to bring an end to AIDS.”
